After the success
with the ADDWC Charity Auction for 2005, it was decided that we would try
a direct tie in with LightningFest 2006 and a charity themed die-cast car to
raise even more funds. Thanks to the help of the Charity sponsors, the car came
to fruition. The goal was to raise 4,000.00 profit alone from the sale of the
car and with continued support, that figure should be attained. Another 4,000.0
is hoped to be reached through donations and the auction held at LightningFest
in Oak Brook, IL.
Two complete
matching number sets were auctioned off on HobbyTalk to raise extra funds, These
are the only two sets sold to the public. Set number 050 and 007 were auctioned
off on Hobbytalk.com.
