The 1958 Chevrolet Corvette was selected to be the Pink Slip Racer (PSR) for the Gravity Race and the Rocket 500. To receive one of these, the car being raced against the PSR had to beat the PSR if it was selected to race against it. With the "real wheels" tires on the 2006 PSR made it easy to beat. The 2006 Pink Slip Racer for the Rocket 500 and the 2006 Dinner Car Corvette were indentical to the 2006 Gravity Race PSR other than the serial numbers.
